What is a Naming Ceremony
A Naming Ceremony, introduces, celebrates and welcomes your new child, to family and friends. Naming Ceremonies give acknowledgement that includes and promises commitment of love, guidance and care from family, and friends and the community. The ceremony can be held in your home, on the beach or in a park or any venue of your choice.
Your Naming Ceremony can include grandparents, siblings, uncles, aunties, godparents or friends, music, readings, or anything else that you would like to add.
Ceremonies & Rituals
How about a ritual, for example a "Sand Ceremony" or the "Lighting of candles", a "Time Capsule" or something special of your own. There are many ways to add meaning and symbolise this special day. Call or send me a message and I will forward information to you about different ceremonies and how we can include them to suit you and your family.
